I've read this verse and heard it preached SO many times before in relation to work and calling. But until this week, I didn't really put together how this entire passage is Paul talking about how we should live in light of the resurrection. Now that you've made it through Easter/Holy Week, how will you live in light of the resurrection? For me? I'll be taking a week of rest 😃
I was inspired during my @hereadstruth reading this morning from 1 Timothy. The end of 2020 was a full court press and I kept wondering, what's the point of all this work? The purpose for all our work is our Living Hope, the Savior of all people. A few weeks back we decided to make a temporary video studio at my church since we decided to stay all-virtual for the rest of the year.
